Ant Input and Passwords

Ant input task does not has a feature which will allow not to echo what user inputs, a necessity in case you are prompting for a password. As per the ant input task documentation

A regular complaint about this task is that it echoes characters to the console, this is a critical security defect, we must fix it immediately, etc, etc. We know it leaves something to be desired, but the problem is Java, not Ant. There is nothing we can do to stop the console echoing.

Indian Television Less Contents More Ads

Today while watching NDTV Profit’s Buy or Sell at around 12:15 PM IST, I notices that the commercial break was around six minutes long while the content was around three minutes and another commercial break followed after that.

This is overall experience on other indian television channels as well. For non real time entertainment, one can still get commercial free entertainment of favorite TV shows (Roadies ;) ) via YouTube or P2P, but for Live cricket etc there is no option but to watch those Ads.

Another pain regarding these sports channels is, one has to pay extra to the cable/dish operator to be able to see them.

I feel that if I am paying extra for sport channels then they should be commercial free.
